She’s in the Third Stall
《她在第三隔间》
Role(s): 祭祀 Ritualist,招娣 Zhao Di
《她在第三隔间》 is a site-specific, immersive, participatory experience incorporating elements of hide-and-seek and scavenger hunting that takes place inside an actual public toilet in Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, transforming a mundane, gendered, and often overlooked space into a haunted zone of emotional residue and participatory memory.
In this performance, audience members become Players - operatives recruited by the fictional ARC (Anomalous Research Corporation) - tasked with entering a damaged paranormal field, referred to as “the container”, to retrieve five cursed objects. The mission unfolds under a strict set of survival rules. The further Players go, the less certain they become of what is ghost, memory, or self.
Through the lens of urban haunting, female mythologies, and youth trauma, 《她在第三隔间》 blends East Asian ghost logic with interactive performance, confronting the unspoken griefs of modern youth: invisibility, pressure, abandonment, and silence.
